Deep Tissue Massage

- A Deep Tissue massage is a technique that uses firm to deep pressure applied to the body to target the muscles and connective tissues below the superficial layer of the body. This technique is recommended for athletes or those who experience chronic pain and/or partake in heavy physical activity on a regular basis. This method is more intense than Swedish massage.
- Benefits of Deep Tissue massage, include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the release of fascia, and increases range of motion,
- Encourages the repair and remodeling of scar tissue,
- Helps alleviate chronic muscle & joint pain,
- Helps lower stress hormones.

Adjustments in pressure (from light to deep) are made throughout the session to accommodate the needs of individual body parts. The benefits of such a fusion allows the client to get a Swedish massage while also receiving deep tissue work in targeted areas.

- Hot Stone massage consist of using heated basalt stones placed throughout the clients’ body to assist in the release of tight muscles and fascia. Swedish massage is incorporated, with the use of hot stones to ensure all areas of concerns are targeted and treated during the session.

- Sports massage is a form of Swedish massage that focuses on increasing the flow of both blood and the lymphatic fluid in the body on a specific area and is usually given to athletes. There are 4 distinct types of sports massage: pre-event, post-event, restorative, and rehabilitative. Each type is provided at different times in correspondence to the athlete’s training and performance schedule.

- Stretch Therapy Relief consists of active and passive assisted-stretching. Clients are dressed in comfortable activewear, and via various assisted stretches and additional methods, increase range of motion and flexibility in targeted areas are attained.

- Relief from muscle tightness, tissue restriction, and joint imbalances,
- Ease of aches and pains,
- Myofascial release.

Reflexology

- Reflexology massage consists of pressure being applied (either manually and/or via massage apparatus’) to certain points in either the hands and/or feet to help relieve tension from corresponding organs and systems of the body. Aromatherapy is added to enhance the therapeutic relief.

- Rapid Tension Relief is a method used to help relieve muscles in targeting areas via the use of vibrating/percussive apparatuses. Clients are dressed in comfortable activewear. Pair this option with a Stretch Therapy Relief session to enhance relief.

- Promotes circulation,
- Relieves minor muscle soreness,

- A Pregnancy Massage helps relieve aches and pains of pregnancy and helps the “Moms-to-Be” relax.

Paraffin Treatment

- Therapeutic treatment using heat via the use of liquified paraffin wax. Paraffin is applied to either the hands and/or feet. The treated area(s) are then given a brief massage to enhance relief from aches, pains, and stiffness.
